So often someone walks by one of our clients asks what event or sport are they training for. Initially, someone would answer, "...just getting in shape." Then, we
thought about why they were training. We realized many of our clients were not training for any specific athletic endeavor, but rather for life itself. Life itself can
be just as challenging as a sporting event and we must be prepared for it when it happens or we further our risk of injury or are sore for so many days after, the "vacation" was not so
fun. Even a Mom by herself handling multiple kids or grandparents keeping up with their grandkids perform many of the same movements as high level athletes usually at a lower intensity.
Many of our daily activities require us to respond in the same manner as the people most of us call athletes.
